Iran Arrests 53 Mossad Agents Who Operated in The South of the Country

Iranian police announced the arrest of 53 people with ties to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, accused of using drones and filming headquarters in Fars province, southern Iran.

Iranian police arrested 35 spies linked to Israel in Hamadan and Masjid Soleiman, in southwest Iran while. In this regard, the police chief of Khuzestan province announced in a statement released by the Iranian news agency SNIM on Friday that five people were arrested on charges of spying for Israel in the city of Masjid Soleiman, in the province of Khuzestan, in southwest Iran.

Police sources indicated that the detainee had connections with the Israeli intelligence services and was receiving cash in exchange for participating in specific activities which included spreading panic and anxiety among the public, photographing sensitive areas, Inciting youth to riots and providing media support for Israeli missile attacks on Iranian infrastructure.

The security forces were also able to identify and arrest four other Israeli supporters who posted messages supporting the occupation’s crimes against Iran on digital platforms.

In addition, Colonel Jafari, the chief of police in Hamadan province, reported the arrest of 30 people last week on suspicion of links with the Mossad in support for Israel.

The Colonel explained that 14 of the detainees had been posting disturbing messages on social media, noting that some of the suspects were walking suspiciously near military installations and others were accused of arson.

The security official stated that intelligence and operations teams in Hamadan have monitored all locations where terrorist elements may be present, in coordination with other security agencies, and Jafari stressed that surveillance by the security services and contributions from the Iranians had thwarted any attempt by elements involved with Mossad in the province.
